New Membership

The New Membership Class is one component of the New Membership Development Team's assignment(s).
 
The New Membership class meets quarterly:  (January, April, August, October).
 
The classes last four weeks. The classes are taught each Sunday morning during the Sunday School hour.
 
The lessons that are taught include:
Church History / Apostolic Order (Instructor, Elder Arthur Reid);
Christian Growth/Salvation (Instructor, Sis. Gena Ester);
Spiritual Gifts(Instructor, Minister Arthur Ingram);
Church Ordinances (Instructor,Evangelist Shawanna Rodgers).

The New Membership classes are designed to set the foundation for new members. Class participants learn about True Holiness, what we believe and how we began. They learn what God requires of us as Christians. Theylearn what their gifts (talents) are and how those gifts can be utilized in the ministry. And they learn about the ordinances that are observed within the Church, such as baptism, feet washing and holy communion.  Once the participants have completed all the classes, they are welcomed into the fellowship and introduced to key leaders of the Church during a ceremony held in their honor.
